JUNIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Full Time Position | Weekdays | Rotating Weekend | Occasional Evening for Events

Overview

The role of JUNIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE is primary point of contact for customers purchasing power equipment and lawn and garden equipment products, and represents the character of Larry’s Small Engines throughout the entire customer experience.

Actions & Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for customers purchasing power equipment and lawn and garden equipment products.
  • Proactive self-starter with confident professionalism to work the showroom floor and provide customers with the best possible purchasing experience.
  • Know the ins and outs of power equipment/lawn and garden product promotions, product offerings, and how certain products compliment the customers’ needs.
  • Be well versed current and new technology for power equipment/lawn and garden equipment; specifically Honda Power Equipment, Stihl, and Cub Cadet.
  • Be well versed in product packages and accessories, etc.
  • Build and establish strong customer relations to ensure repeat customers.
  • Work with Sales Management to establish targets, goals, and best practices.
  • Work with Service Department to ensure PDI of new units in a timely fashion.
  • Work with Marketing Department to ensure seasonal products are being promoted.
  • Assist Parts Department as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, and will maintain professional correspondence with the customer while in-person, telephone, email, and texting.
  • Candidate will be organized and continue to grow base with new and repeat customers.
  • Have a commitment to growth and education, and continue to grow knowledge through online OEM training.
  • Ability to obtain OEM sales certifications.
  • Ability to work trade shows as required.
