PARTS ASSOCIATE
FULL TIME POSITION | WEEKDAYS | ROTATING WEEKENDS | OCCASIONAL EVENING FOR EVENTS
Overview
The role of PARTS ASSOCIATE is a critical point of contact for the customer and represents the character of Larry’s Small Engines throughout the entire customer experience.
Actions & Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for the customer regarding parts, accessories, and apparel for powersports and small engine products.
- Provide quality, courteous customer experience with all in-person, telephone, email, and texting interactions.
- Look up parts using electronic parts fiche and source parts for both OEM and aftermarket products.
- Work with both Sales and Service departments as needed to source parts/accessories.
- Assist customers in their purchases and provide keen insight into additional items that will be useful or work in conjunction with their purchase.
- Be active on the showroom floor assisting customers with their apparel and accessory purchases.
- Keep online OEM training up to date as it pertains to Parts Department.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Parts Technician (Red Seal) 240P considered an asset.
- Must be comfortable with computers, online supports, and email; working knowledge of PowerTrac, Kenect, BossWeb, etc. considered an asset.
- Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills and professionalism, and are fully committed to ensuring customers receive the best possible experience.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Preference given to those with prior experience in a parts associate role at a powersports dealer or in the automotive industry.
